Description:

Clydebank re-built has begun the upgrading of strategic accesses around the town centre and the Chalmers Street transport hub. This involves streetscape and new junction formation in the Hume Street and Alexander Street area as well as provision of new bus bays on Chalmers Street.

In addition, the Council-owned Playdrome leisure centre site has been marketed for a food superstore. Tesco has been identified as the preferred bidder and has recently submitted a Proposal of Application notice.
