Description:

Dalmuir Park in Clydebank has been given a dramatic makeover which includes installing lighting and CCTV, and repairing the ornate Edwardian fountain and canopy, once a major attraction of the park.

Work placements, horticultural apprenticeships and other training has been made available in the park thanks to the funding boost.

The Heritage Lottery Fund awarded £859,600 for the upgrade while West Dunbartonshire Council, has pledged a further £600,000.
