Description:

The Yorkhill Quay pontoon is situated to the East of Pointhouse; The Tall Ship - Glenlee - and new Riverside Museum and in front of the new public realm created around the new Riverside Museum.

The 50m pontoon is completely secure, with an electronic gate. Electricity and water services are available. The pontoon would be attractive for river bus, river taxi uses with space, through booking, for visiting boats.

The pontoon is part of series of pontoons being created along the river, encouraging a mix of leisure craft to make use of the upper Clyde.

Current status:

Work was completed  in May 2011.
