Glasgow City Centre, Custom House Quay

The redevelopment of the St Enoch Centre has created a world-class retail and leisure destination in a key location at the heart of Glasgow city centre.

In the first phase of redevelopment 250,000 ft2 of retail and leisure space has been added, taking the facility to more than 1 million ft2 in total.

Up to 700 new retail jobs will be created as a result of the St Enoch's Working Initiative.

An iconic new entrance has been created on the site of the old Clydesdale Bank building. New facades and store fronts have been added, shopper circulation improved and an ambitious lighting programme has added to the centre's visual appeal.

World-famous toy store Hamleys has opened of its first UK store outside London at St. Enoch and other top brands such as H&M, Henleys, Costa Coffee, Folli Follie and Pulp have also be opened major new stores. In addition, existing anchor retailers Boots, Debenhams and Dorothy Perkins have invested heavily to enhance their stores within the Centre.

The new food court, providing 720 seats, has wi-fi internet, a children's soft play area and a pay-as-you-go internet kiosk.
