Glasgow based broadband start up Brillband has raised further
investment of £475,000 to support its plans for national and
international expansion.
The funding, from investors in Australia and Norway, takes
overall investment in the internet service provider to over £1m in
the past nine months.
Brillband launched in Glasgow and Renfrewshire in Q4 2022 and has
since grown across the country, establishing new customer bases in
Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Stirling and Inverness.
The new investment will help expand Brillband's software
development , customer experience and marketing divisions.
The company plans to expand across the UK in early 2024, before
setting its sights on Europe the following year.
Available on the Cityfibre network, Brillband's model revolves
around a single rate for the fastest speed, for the duration of a
customer's contract, with no mid-contract price hikes.
