Speirs &
Jeffrey has signed up as first tenant at the refurbished George
House office building in Glasgow.
The developer, Redevco
announced the first post refurbishment letting at its 100,000 sq ft
office building, recently the subject of a £6.9m refurbishment
which was officially launched in September this year.
Speirs & Jeffrey, a leading investment management company
who advise on funds in excess of £4bn, have taken 15,000 sq ft on
the fourth floor of the building. They have taken a 10 year lease
at the quoting rents. They will occupy a newly refurbished building
featuring a reconfigured entrance and reception area fronting onto
George Square, the main civic square in Glasgow. The building has
impressive sustainability credentials with a BREEAM rating of
Excellent and a B rated EPC.
David Smith, Investment Director at Redevco, said: "We are
