Energy prices, and the effect these are having on households,
continue to dominate the news. Indeed, it looks like things may get
even worse before they get better, which is not what anyone wants
to hear. Perhaps unsurprisingly, until now mainstream media has
tended to focus on the effect on individuals and families, but
recently there has been more mention of the effect on businesses,
and what government support is available. Small businesses in
particular are really at risk, with some facing energy bills that
are higher than the profit they are making.
So what is the answer? Well sadly nobody has a silver bullet,
but as margins are squeezed many businesses are starting to look at
areas where they can save money, and there are some things which
can be done to reduce energy costs. Pictured above is Rob
