Working both individually and in small groups, learners will
research emigration from the River Clyde, looking at destinations,
methods of transport, and economic and social reasons for
emigrating. Learners will have control over how far they take the
project and there are opportunities for them to contact overseas
organisations linked to Scotland. Learners will put this
knowledge into a creative and factual display of knowledge. This
will form an exhibition for parents and community. Learners
will be encouraged to look at how emigration was represented
culturally.
