Artwork on Recognising unity, celebrating diversity

Pupils research two different religious perspectives on a theme (e.g. the universal family) and produce two pieces of artwork for a Scottish arts festival, titled 'Recognising unity, celebrating diversity'. The festival aims to exhibit the work of artists and promote understanding of the religious traditions found in Scotland and of the creative arts.

• Subject knowledge gained and enhanced: shared and distinct religious beliefs about God, humans and the planet 
• Enterprising skills improved by developing creativity, taking responsibility and making decisions 
• Pupils take responsibility for their learning through making decisions about the artwork they produce
