WiBF event presses for progress

Places are filling up fast for the latest event organised by Women in Banking and Finance (WiBF) in Glasgow.

Held on Thursday 8th March, to coincide with International Women's Day (IWD), this informal networking event will focus on #PressforProgress, the central theme of this year's IWD.

Guest speaker is Coretta Barry, a Chartered Psychologist, Registered Coaching Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, as well as being a graduate from The University of Glasgow. She leads Glasgow based Patten Consulting, a leadership and talent consultancy which aims to bring practical solutions from psychology to everyday business. Her focus is to help businesses get results through supportive but disciplined leadership and management practice.

Several local board members will also share their views and insights on the traits of successful board members, career development and building confidence.

The event kicks off at 6pm on Thursday 8th March at Edrington Group, 100 Queen Street, Glasgow, G1 3DN. It's free for WiBF members and £5 for non members. To register, visit https://www.wibf.org.uk/events/details/international-womens-day-networking-evening
