This idea will develop a knowledge and understanding of finance
relative to speed, distance and time in addition to percentages and
apply this knowledge in a real life context. Young people will work
in teams to meet a spec to design a hybrid/modern
environmental/friendly car that possibly reduces harmful gas
emissions for a car manufacturer. It will meet certain criteria
within a set budget, including which materials to use and design
parameters for the car.
